Teaches individuals how to create a checklist, locate scholarships using print and online resources and write an effective essay.

Topics to Be Covered:

  • Writing the Essay
  • Completing the Financial Aid Application
  • Locating Scholarship Resources on the World Wide Web and Using Print Resources 
  • Students will receive a scholarship resource packet

Teaches individuals how to use various software applications, such as Microsoft Office for academic, personal, and professional use.

  • Enriching your Internet Searching Skills
  • Developing your Power Point Skills
  • Computer Basics for Beginners
  • Using Spreadsheets
  • Creating Databases
  • Web Design Basics
